Background to Jesus. All about Life
Jesus. All about Life (JAAL) began as a series of think-tanks, chaired by Rev Karl Faase, for Christian Television, Australia. Over a 10 month period in 2002, the group met to consider how best to communicate who the person of Jesus is, what he actually did and said, and how to best use the media in Australia.
Motivated by the Bible Society, this has now developed into JAAL; the largest ever Christian marketing and advertising campaign in Australia. For the first time, over 1,700 churches across fifteen Christian denominations in NSW and WA will come together to participate in this groundbreaking project to raise the awareness of Jesus.
The six-week campaign will officially start on Sep 14 with outdoor, print and radio advertisements and continue to include TV advertising from Sep 27.
The purpose of the campaign is to raise the awareness of Jesus by combining traditional and contemporary methods of communication. It seeks to bring Jesus back into everyday conversation, to show how he is relevant to today and that he is all about life in every aspect.
